Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.

  1. Remove the rear check arm bolt.
    Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel.
    Refer to: Rear Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the bolts and the speaker.

  1. Remove the rear door check cover.

  1. Remove the rear door check arm nuts.
    Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

  1. Remove the rear door check arm assembly.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
