Removal

NOTE: Left hand (LH) side shown, right hand (RH) side similar.

Remove the front door.
Refer to: Front Door (501-03 Body Closures, Removal and Installation).

Remove the door trim panel and the water shield.
Refer to: Front Door Trim Panel (501-05) .

Remove the fasteners and the front door check arm.

Installation

NOTE: Left hand (LH) side shown, right hand (RH) side similar.

Install the front door check arm and fasteners.
Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

Install and align the front door.
Refer to: Front Door (501-03 Body Closures, Removal and Installation).
Refer to: Front Door Alignment (501-03 Body Closures, General Procedures).

Install the water shield and door trim panel.
Refer to: Front Door Trim Panel (501-05) .
