Ford Fusion: Body Closures / Front Door. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the check arm bolt.
   Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

1. Disconnect the front door electrical connector.
   

1. Remove the door hinge pivot bolts and the door.
   Use the General Equipment: Door Lift
   Torque: 22 lb.ft (30 Nm)

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   

1. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

   Check the alignment and correct if necessary.
