Ford Fusion: Exterior Lighting / Headlamp Bulb. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: The procedure for the LH headlamp assembly is shown, the RH headlamp assembly is similar.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Low beam headlamp bulb

NOTE: LH is shown, RH is similar.

1. NOTE: LH is shown, RH is similar.

   Remove the low beam headlamp cover
   

1. 
   Remove the low beam headlamp bulb.
   
   1. Disconnect the bulb electrical connector.
      
   2. Rotate the bulb and release the bulb.
      

High beam headlamp bulb

NOTE: LH is shown, RH is similar.

1. Remove the high beam headlamp cover
   

1. Remove the high beam headlamp bulb.
   
   1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
      
   2. Rotate the bulb and release the bulb.
      

Turn signal lamp bulb

NOTE: LH is shown, RH is similar.

1. Remove the headlamp assembly.
   Refer to: Headlamp Assembly (417-01 Exterior Lighting, Removal and Installation).
   

1. 
   Remove the turn signal lamp bulb.
   
   1. Remove the turn signal bulb holder.
      
   2. Separate the turn signal bulb from the bulb holder.
      

Installation

1. To install individual bulbs, reverse the removal procedure.
