Ford Fusion: Front End Body Panels / Active Grille Shutter. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the front bumper cover.
   Refer to: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Disassembly and Assembly).
   

1. On both sides.
   Remove the pin-type retainers.
   

1. Remove the bolts.
   Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

   1. Remove the bolts.
      
   2. Release the retaining tabs.
      
   3. Lift up and remove the bridge link.
      

1. Remove the active grille shutter.
   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
