Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
    Refer to: Rear Seat Cushion (501-10B Rear Seats, Removal and Installation).
    1. Lift the rear seat latch release handle.
    1. Lower the rear seat backrest.

  1. If equipped with heated seats.
    Disconnect the heated seat electrical connector.

    1. Lower the backrest.
    1. Rotate the backrest hinge locking arm rearward and release the backrest.
    1. Remove the seat backrest.

  1. Unzip the backrest cover, release the backrest cover J-clips and remove the bolts.
    Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

  1. Remove the rear seat armrest.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
