Ford Fusion: Rear Seats / Rear Seat Armrest. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:

Remove the rear seat cushion.
Refer to: Rear Seat Cushion (501-10B Rear Seats, Removal and Installation).

Lift the rear seat latch release handle.

Lower the rear seat backrest.
-
If equipped with heated seats.
Disconnect the heated seat electrical connector.

Lower the backrest.
-
Rotate the backrest hinge locking arm rearward and release the backrest.
-
Remove the seat backrest.
-
Unzip the backrest cover, release the backrest cover J-clips and remove the bolts.
Torque:
89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Remove the rear seat armrest.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The RCM continuously monitors the passenger seatbelt anchor pretensioner circuits for the following faults:
Resistance out of range
Unexpected voltage
Short to ground
