Ford Fusion: Parking Aid / Parking Aid Camera - 4-Door. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1.   WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this section, refer to Safety Warnings in section 100-00 General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

   Refer to: Luggage Compartment Lid Moulding (501-08 Exterior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Remove the decklid applique.
   Refer to: Luggage Compartment Lid Moulding (501-08 Exterior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Remove the retainer and the parking aid camera bracket.
   

1. 
   Remove the parking aid camera.
   
   1. Disconnect the parking aid camera electrical connector.
      
   2. Remove the parking aid camera.
      

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   

1. Configure the rear video camera following the instructions on the scan tool located using the following path: Electrical> Service Functions>LIN New Module Initialization.
