Ford Fusion: Exterior Trim and Ornamentation / Front Door Upper Moulding. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

All vehicles

1. Lower the door glass all the way down.
   

1. Remove the bolt from the front and the rear of the door moulding and remove the moulding.
   Torque: 17 lb.in (1.9 Nm)

1. Pull B-pillar glass run leg out of the U-channel of the upper moulding.
   

1. Remove the screws and the push clip.
   Torque: 17 lb.in (1.9 Nm)

Vehicles with keyless entry

1. Remove the front door window glass.
   Refer to: Front Door Window Glass (501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Release the harness routing clip, disconnect the electrical connector and position aside the wiring harness.
   

All vehicles

1. Remove the front door upper moulding.
   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
