Ford Fusion: Front End Body Panels / Fender. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:
LH shown, RH similar.
NOTE:

Remove the fender splash shield.
Refer to: Fender Splash Shield (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).

Remove the fender insulation.

Remove the fender baffle.
-
Remove the rocker panel moulding.
Refer to: Rocker Panel Moulding (501-08 Exterior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Remove the bolt.
Torque:
80 lb.in (9 Nm)
-
Remove the bolts.
Torque:
80 lb.in (9 Nm)
-
Release the retainers and remove the door frame moulding.
-
Remove the bolt.
Torque:
80 lb.in (9 Nm)
-
Remove the fender-to-bumper cover bolts and position the bumper cover down.
Torque:
53 lb.in (6 Nm)
-
Remove the front fender bracket bolt.
Torque:
80 lb.in (9 Nm)
-
Remove the pin-type retainers and the cowl filler panel.
-
Remove the bolts.
Torque:
80 lb.in (9 Nm)
-
Remove the fender.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Remove the wheel and tire.
