Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Instrument panel cable

1. Remove the FDIM.
   Refer to: Front Display Interface Module (FDIM) (415-00 Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: SYNC 3, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Remove the glove compartment.
   Refer to: Glove Compartment (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
   

1. NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

   Release the clips, push pin and remove the floor console side trim panel.
   Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

1. • Release the clips and remove the lower center instrument panel finish panel.
     Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
   • Disconnect the electrical connector.
     

1. Detach the retainers and remove the instrument panel USB port cable following the routing shown.
   

Floor console cable

1. Open the floor console stowage bin lid.
   

1. On both sides.
   Release the clips and remove the floor console upper side finish panels.
   

1. 
   Remove the screws, release the clips and remove the floor console upper trim panel.
   
   • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
     Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

1. Release the clips and remove the center stack trim panel.
   Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

1. On both sides.
   Remove both console side trim panels.
   Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

1. • Release the clips and remove the lower center instrument panel finish panel.
     Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
   • Disconnect the electrical connector.
     

1. • Remove the bolts, release the clips and remove the floor console upper finish panel.
     Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
   • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
     

1. • Remove the USB port bezel.
     Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
   • Disconnect the electrical connector.
     

1. Detach the retainers and remove the floor console USB port cable following the routing shown.
   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
