Ford Fusion: Wipers and Washers / Rain Sensor. Removal and Installation

Removal

1. 
   Remove the upper rain sensor cover.
   
   1. Squeeze the upper rain sensor cover.
      
   2. Remove the upper rain sensor cover.
      

1. 
   Remove the lower rain sensor cover.
   
   1. Release the tabs.
      
   2. Remove the lower rain sensor cover.
      

1. 
   Remove the rain sensor.
   
   • Disconnect the electrical connector.
     
   • Release the retainers.
     
   • Remove the rain sensor.
     

Installation

1. NOTICE: Make sure the windshield glass is clean and free of foreign material.

   NOTICE: Inspect the silicone gel pad for damage. If damaged, install a new silicone gel pad.

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
