Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Open the floor console stowage bin lid.

  1. On both sides.
    Detach the clips and remove the floor console upper side finish panel.

  1. Detach the clips and remove the instrument panel center finish panel.

    1. Remove the screws.
    1. Detach the clips.
    1. Remove the upper floor console finish panel and disconnect the electrical connectors.

    1. Remove the screws.
    1. Detach the clips.
    1. Remove the floor console upper support and disconnect the electrical connectors.

  1. Remove the nuts and the PATS center antenna.
    Torque: 27 lb.in (3 Nm)

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. NOTE: Anytime the parking brake switch electrical connector has been disconnected, the EPB system is deactivated and a DTC is stored in the ABS module. Perform the following step to restore the EPB system and clear the ABS module DTC.

    Apply and release the parking brake twice within 5 seconds, pausing with the switch in the NEUTRAL position for approximately one-half second between each apply and release.

    The tire pressure monitoring system measures pressure in your road tires and sends the tire pressure readings to your vehicle. You can view the tire pressure readings through the information display. The low tire pressure warning light will turn on if the tire pressure is significantly low. Once the light is illuminated, your tires are under-inflated and need to be inflated to the manufacturer’s recommended tire pressure.
