Ford Fusion: Handles, Locks, Latches and Entry Systems / Interior Rear Door Handle. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.

1. Remove the rear door trim panel.
   Refer to: Rear Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Remove the retainers and remove the interior front door handle.
   

1. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

   Remove the door lock control switch.
   

1. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

   If equipped
   Remove the speaker.
   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
