Ford Fusion: Glass, Frames and Mechanisms / Front Door Window Glass. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: LH side shown, RH side similar.

1. Remove the front door trim panel.
   Refer to: Front Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Remove the front door speaker.
   Refer to: Front Door Speaker (415-00 Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: AM/FM/CD/SYNC/Sony Audio System) .
   Refer to: Front Door Speaker (415-00 Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: SYNC 3, Removal and Installation).
   Refer to: Front Door Speaker (415-00 Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: AM/FM/CD/SYNC) .
   

1. Remove the front door watershield.
   

1. Remove the inner belt moulding.
   

1. Remove the bolt and front door window glass weatherstrip.
   

1. 
   Lower the front door window glass.
   
   1. Install the front door window control switch.
      
   2. lower the glass to 2/3 down position.
      

1. Release the retaining clips from front door window glass.
   

1. Remove the front door window glass.
   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   

1. Perform the power door window initialization.
