Removal
NOTE:

Remove the heater core.
Refer to: Heater Core (412-00 Climate Control System - General Information, Removal and Installation).

Remove the climate control housing seal.
-
Remove the bolts and the thermostatic expansion valve. Discard the gasket seals.
Torque:
71 lb.in (8 Nm)

Disconnect the blower motor and the blower motor speed control.

Remove the blower motor speed control.
-
Remove the blower motor.
-
Remove the retainer and release the climate control housing retaining clips.
-
Remove the retainer and release the climate control housing retaining clips.
-
Detach the evaporator temperature sensor and remove the evaporator.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
