Removal
NOTE:

Remove the instrument panel upper section.
Refer to: Instrument Panel Upper Section (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).

Detach the wiring harness retainer, remove the nuts and the instrument panel upper brace.
Torque:
133 lb.in (15 Nm)

Detach the wiring harness retainer, remove the retainers and the center footwell vent duct.

Disconnect the blower motor speed control electrical connectors.
-
Detach the wiring harness retainers and position the wiring harness aside.
-
Remove the retainer and position the wiring harness bracket aside.
-
Remove the climate control housing bolts.
Torque:
133 lb.in (15 Nm)

Position the instrument panel wiring harness aside, remove the bolts and the climate control housing.
Torque:
133 lb.in (15 Nm)
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Resuming the Set Speed
Press and release the button.
Your vehicle speed returns to the
previously set speed and gap setting. The
set speed displays continuously in the
information display when the system is
