Ford Fusion: Roof Opening Panel / Air Deflector. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1.   WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this section, refer to Safety Warnings in section 100-00 General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

1. NOTE: Some parts removed for clarity.

   On both sides.
   Disconnect the air deflector body from the roof opening panel frame.
   
   1. Lift up the air deflector arm.
      
   2. Slide the air deflector body rearward and up to disconnect the air deflector body.

   Remove the air deflector assembly.
   
   1. Tilt the air deflector assembly upward.
      
   2. Pull forward to remove air deflector assembly.
      

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
