Ford Fusion: Body Closures / Rear Door Check Arm. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:
Left hand (LH) side shown, right hand (RH) side similar.

Remove the door trim panel and water shield.
Refer to: Rear Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Remove the rear door.
Refer to: Rear Door (501-03 Body Closures, Removal and Installation).

Remove the fasteners and the rear door check arm.
Installation
NOTE:
Left hand (LH) side shown, right hand (RH) side similar.

Install the rear door check arm and fasteners.
Torque:
80 lb.in (9 Nm)

Install and align the door.

Install the water shield and door trim panel.
