Ford Fusion: Bumpers / Front Bumper Cover. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:

Remove the front wheels and tires.
Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

On both sides.
Remove the rivet push pin and the screws from the front of the fender liner.

Remove the screws and the lower radiator closeout.
-
Disconnect the electrical connector.
-
If equipped.
Remove the pin-type retainers, the screws and position the air deflector down.

If equipped.
Disconnect the electrical connector and release the wiring harness guides.
-
Remove the nuts and position the fender liner aside.
-
Remove the front bumper cover-to-fender bolts and the push pin.
-
If equipped.
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the upper front bumper cover bolts, the screws and the push pins.
-
With the help of assistant.
Release the sides of the front bumper cover from the brackets and position forward.
-
Remove the front bumper cover.
-
Disconnect the electrical connector.
-
Detach the wiring harness retainer and remove the front bumper cover.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

The RCM monitors the passenger seatbelt buckle switch circuits for the following faults:
Open circuit
Short to voltage
Short to ground
Current out of range
Faulted passenger seatbelt buckle switch
