Ford Fusion: Parking Aid - Vehicles With: Active Park Assist / Front Active Park Assist Sensors. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE: The LH side shown, RH side is similar.

  1. Remove the front wheel and tire.
    Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the plastic rivets from the front of the fender liner.

  1. Remove the screws.

  1. Remove the nuts and position the fender liner aside.

  1. Remove the front active park assist sensor.
    1. Disconnect the front active park assist sensor electrical connector.
    1. Release the tabs.
    1. Remove the front active park assist sensor from the bracket.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Carry out the azimuth system check.
