Ford Fusion: Parking Aid - Vehicles With: Active Park Assist / Front Active Park Assist Sensors. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:

NOTE:
The LH side shown, RH side is similar.

Remove the front wheel and tire.
Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

Remove the plastic rivets from the front of the fender liner.

Remove the screws.
-
Remove the nuts and position the fender liner aside.
-
Remove the front active park assist sensor.
-
Disconnect the front active park assist sensor electrical connector.
-
Release the tabs.
-
Remove the front active park assist sensor from the bracket.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Carry out the azimuth system check.

Remove the rear bumper cover.

Disconnect the electrical connector...

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor
battery may release hazardous chemicals if exposed to extreme mechanical
damage. If these chemicals contact the skin or eyes, flush immediately
with water for a minimum of 15 minutes and get prompt medical attention...
Inspection
NOTE:
A coolant leak in the heater hose could follow the
heater core tube to the heater core and appear as a leak in the heater
core.
Inspect for evidence of coolant leakage at the heater hose to heater core attachments.
NOTE:
Spring-type clamps are installed as original
equipment...
