Ford Fusion: Interior Trim and Ornamentation / C-Pillar Lower Trim Panel. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

1.   WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this section, refer to Safety Warnings in section 100-00 General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

   Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).
   

1. Release the clips and remove the rear door scuffplate trim panel.
   

1. Position the rear seat backrest in the fold flat position.
   

1. 1. Position aside the rear door weatherstrip.
      
   2. Release the clip.
      
   3. Release the clip.
      
   4. Release the clips.
      
   5. If equipped.
      Position aside the rear safety belt and remove the C-pillar lower trim panel.
      

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
