Ford Fusion: Climate Control System - General Information / Passenger Side Temperature Door Actuator. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1.   WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this section, refer to Safety Warnings in section 100-00 General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

   Refer to: Climate Control System Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).
   

1. Remove the push pins and the RH insulation panel.
   

1. Remove the glove compartment.
   Refer to: Glove Compartment (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the retainers and the passenger side temperature door actuator.
   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   

1. NOTE: Align levels, and make sure fiber washers are in place.
