Removal

WARNING:

Remove the push pins and the RH insulation panel.

Remove the glove compartment.
Refer to: Glove Compartment (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).

Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the retainers and the passenger side temperature door actuator.
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Align levels, and make sure fiber washers are in place.

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The RCM continuously monitors the passenger seatbelt anchor pretensioner circuits for the following faults:
Resistance out of range
Unexpected voltage
Short to ground
Faulted passenger seatbelt anchor pretens..
Using Summer Tires
Summer tires provide superior
performance on wet and dry roads.
Summer tires do not have the Mud and
Snow (M+S or M/S) tire traction rating on
the tire side wall. Since summer tires do
not have the same traction performance
as All-season or Snow tires, we do not
recommend using summer tires when
temperatures drop to approximately 45°F
(7°C) or below (depending on tire..
